May 10, 2012 Bulky waste coupons available from City of Hillsboro
You can pick up a $49 bulky waste coupon from 4/30 for the Hillsboro landfill or Tualatin Valley Waste Recovery Center at the City of Hillsboro reception desk on the fifth floor of the Hillsboro Civic Center on 1st and Main. For more information contact 503 681-5204. The no-cost-to-you $49 coupon offsets the total costs. It may not cover the entire fee for disposing of your bulky waste, but $49 is a big help!

March 17, 2012 Backflow testing group discount opportunity
We have received a proposal from a sprinkler system backflow device testing company to provide backflow testing at a reduced charge (aka "group discount"). The Owners Association does not in any way endorse this company, but we're sharing the info as it would perhaps be beneficial to some members.

"Good Morning, We were given your name by one of the residents of your HOA. We are a backflow testing company and we would like to offer our services to your residents. We currently have a HOA group testing rate of $25 per device as long as they are all tested on the same day (or scheduled days depending on amounts of devices). February 22, 2012 Association info headed your way!
In the next several days, you will find a packet of important information regarding the Association in your possession, either by personal delivery direct to you by a Board member or via USPS mail. Included is your 2012 association dues invoice, hardcopy of the 2012 Letter from the Chair, notice of the 2012 Annual Meeting, and a voting proxy for election of Board members in lieu of your attendance at the SMOA Annual meeting scheduled for April 14, 2012. Also included is a return envelope for your convenience in submitting your check for 2012 dues and your completed voting proxy.

Yard Maintenance Resolution
Hopefully each homeowner has had an opportunity to review the Yard Maintenance Resolution which you received in the mail recently. The Resolution is a necessary step to encourage homeowners to maintain a well groomed appearance for their yards. Sunburst Meadow takes pride in keeping our neighborhood beautiful. If you have any questions regarding the Resolution, feel free to contact a member of the Board.
